How to find the way to Golden Park Hotel 4**** Budapest?

Our hotel is located at Baross Square opposite the Eastern Railway Station (the central railway station in Budapest) next to a metro station and a couple of bus stops.

From the airport: From Ferihegy Airport the simplest access is to get on the Airport MiniBus that takes you to our hotel, tickets available at the airport. Distance is about 20 km: with taxi it is 25-35 minutes, with Airport MiniBus it is about 40-50 minutes, depending on the traffic.

By car: The hotel is easily accessable from the highways. From Vienna, take M1 highway (226 km), from Balaton take M7 (100 km). Through the Danube, across Erzsébet bridge, toward the city center, go through Rákóczi Road to Baross Square. From M3 go through Hungária Road and to the right at Kerepesi út, then ahead to Baross Square.

From the railway stations: From the Eastern Railway station, the hotel is a half minute walk through the square. From the Southern Railway Station, the red metro no. 2 takes you to the Eastern Railway Station. From Western Railway Station, blue metro no. 3 takes you to Deák Square, there you take the red metro no. 2 to Eastern Railway Station. (or the  4; 6 trams from Western Railway Station to Blaha Lujza Square and from there the 7, 7E or 178 buses in the direction of Bosnyák Square.)

With public transport:  Baross Square is accessable with buses no. 5, 7, 7E, 20E, 30, 30A, 95, 95A, 173, 173E, 178, 178A, 273E or the No. 2 red metro line, the No. 24 tram, and 73, 76, 78, 79, 80, 80A, 81 trolleys.

 

TRANSFER

Our hotel does not have a pick-up service, because the official airport shuttle and taxi company of the airport offer the best prices and they are easily available at the airport.

From Ferihegy Airport the simplest access is to get on the Airport MiniBus that takes you to our hotel. The Airport Minibus is found also at the exit of the airport and uses fixed prices of HUF 2990 one way and HUF 4990 for there and back (about EUR 10 and EUR 17) per person. You do not need to order a transfer in advance, but if you wish to secure yourself you may reserve your ride at their website.
 
 
The Budapest Airport has an official taxi company, which has a fixed price of
EUR 23 from the airport to the hotel (the hotel is in their Zone 2) and
EUR 16 from the hotel to the airport.
The taxi company has a help desk just in front of the arrival exit, where their collegues can help you if you do not see free taxi right away. The phone number is: +36 1 365 5555.

PARKING

Golden Park Hotel itself does not have its own garage, but there are some possibilities for parking nearby.

  • Just across the street in the Baross square there is an open public parking place. It costs about approx. HUF 300/ hour and it is payable from Monday to Friday between 8:00 - 18:00.
  • Behind the hotel there is a guarded open parking possibility, which cotst about HUF 2-3000 daily.
  • Across Baross Square there is another hotel shich has a private garage. Our guests may park there for about HUF 3 800/ car/ night.
  • In about 5-10 minutes walking distance there is Arena Plaza, the biggest shopping mall in Hungary, which has a huge, covered, warm, guarded and free parking area.
We suggest our guest to park in the public parking area of Keleti Railway Station, and after check-in leave their car in Arena Plaza.
Due to the exceptionally well public transport at the hotel, it is much faster to use public vehicles in the city.
